[CES 2023 - Consumer Technology Association Tech Event] AI that detects and analyzes urine molecules with light - OLIVE DIAGNOSTICS

Hi there welcome to CES. my name is David Scott of  olive Diagnostics.
We are a healthcare device and you know we’re in Las Vegas there’s a lot of lives but most of the lives just shine.

Some of the lights actually light up your life and  what we do is with the Spectrum a device.

We’re able to tell you about your health.
The thing is spectroscopy is a science that helps detect molecules in urine in this instance.

So every time you urinate in the toilet we can help you find out which molecules are in your urine.

It’s a very very detailed very, non-invasive way, cheap way to not only measure you now real time but actually longitudinally measure over a course of time.

So what is spectroscopy? spectroscopy is a science of light that we send out in different frequencies and as we send out the lights it interacts with molecules in urine.

Healthy urine contains a certain set of molecules.
The moment other molecules start appearing in the urine it could be a sign of malnutrition.

It could be a sign of dehydration it could be a sign of a medical condition or maybe you’re just working too  hard out working out too hard in the gym.

So Olive Diagnostics helps you stay healthier for longer  with a cheap device completely non-invasively and every time you urinate you’re not just pissing data away.

You’re actually becoming smarter about your health or the health of your loved ones.

The thing is we are using light in a whole range of Spectra.
Some of them are visible to the human eye some of them are invisible, you are now seeing it through the camera lens of course, so you’re seeing a lot more lights than we can see as a human being.

Because the camera is just a lot more powerful.
But light is energy and we are emitting energy on this side with the LEDs we’re receiving the energy this side with the photodiodes.

As a molecule interacts with that beam of light the molecule is excited it absorbs energy and so when we receive it there’s less energy than we send.

So we know it’s a certain molecule because it interacts with a certain radio or light wavelengths.

We then have a CPU here a little computer with a Wi-Fi it senses up to the cloud and we do the analysis with artificial intelligence in the cloud.

We have a couple of molecules that we’re featuring at the moment and but we’re adding our library.

The library is growing and we can eventually retroactively actually see molecules that we don’t recognize today.

We will be able to recognize into years time and we maybe we will be able to go back to your file and tell you more  about ketones for example or cortisol for stress levels anti-program BMP,

which is a molecule that indicates your risk of heart failure etc etc.
