[BSC Expo 2022] Hedbox

Hi I’m Richard from Global Distribution, here at the BSC Expo 2022.

We’re gonna have a quick chat about Hedbox.
So Hedbox are a manufacturer of battery and power solutions.

They’re headquartered in Europe with R&D based out of Switzerland.
You know batteries, lots of people make batteries but what’s different about Hedbox is some of the  R&D and tech that goes inside it.

So they were the first people to do Sony bpu batteries with dual tap-outs on them,

you can also use the d-taps to charge the battery as well.

They do it in a 95 Watt hour and a 75 Watt hour.
So this is perfect for like Sony FX-6, FX-9, old Sony FS series camera users as well.

They do a whole comprehensive range of Sony NPF batteries, all the way up to their large 10400mAh batteries,

so that is perfect for like light-panels and monitors that you want to run for a very long-period of time.

They also have a really interesting range of V-Lock atteries which are kind of lesser-known in the market.
So this is their Neuro series and they do this in four different capacities.

They have the Neuro S, M, L and XL, ranging from 98 Watt Hours to 150, 195 and 295,

but for example this 98 Watt Hour is the lightest of any 98 Watt Hour on the market.

It is drop test certified to 2 metres onto concrete.

It uses what Hedbox calls a cells-framing construction system, which makes the actual integrity of the inside of the battery, super safe.

It also has a d-tap and USB-standard on the battery itself and it has a user interchangeable V-wedge as well for the plate,

so this has a load cycle of about 10,000 load cycles but it is user replaceable if this was ever to get damaged.
